Out of all the rooms in the house the one that I get asked the most questions about, the one that seems to cause people the most Feng Shui problems is the bedroom. It is pretty ironic really that this is the room that causes people the most concern because it is the room where we should be at our most relaxed, our most restful and our most secure. The last thing we need when we go to bed at night is to be sitting in bed worrying about the energy in our bedroom, after all it’s hardly conducive to a good night’s sleep.

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised though that the bedroom causes so many problems. One of the fundamental principles of Feng Shui is balance but when you have a room that is used for two activities at either end of the yin yang scale, sleep and sex, then where exactly do you start with the interior décor? Decorating the room in very pale colours is great for sleep but not so good for your love life if you both fall asleep every night before your head hits the pillow, and red silk sheets and mirrored wardrobes may do your sex life a world of good but do you both want to be wide awake at 2am every morning?

The truth is that when decorating your bedroom you need to keep the word balance in mind. Above all the bedroom is a place for sleeping, our bodies need sleep to sustain us for the rigours of the day ahead and so the bedroom should primarily be decorated in pale colours and soft fabrics. Pale pinks, creams and light browns are excellent colours for the bedroom as they are not only yin colours but colours that represent love. Use these colours for most of the wall decoration, bedroom furniture, bed linens and floor coverings. They will form a soft backdrop to your bedroom creating a restful sanctuary to which you can retire at the end of the day.

Of course the bedroom is used for more than sleeping and a healthy and happy life is one in which you have an active love life with your partner. To add sparkle to your bedroom add high energy colours as accent colours. Paint a feature wall in dark red or bright pink, add red, gold or bright pink cushions and throws to the bed, place lamps at either side of the bed with dark red or gold shades. These bright additions are sure to create a special place that you and your partner can both love and enjoy.

Once you have the colour scheme balanced there are some basic principles that you can follow to ensure the energy flows naturally around the bedroom. Make sure the bed is pulled away from the wall as this allows energy to circulate around the whole bed. It also means that both you and your partner feel equal in the bedroom as you can both get in and out of the bed easily. Metal bed frames can disrupt the flow of energy so if your bed frame is made out of metal cover this in fabric and ensure head boards are made out of wood or covered in fabric as this means your head, the most vulnerable part of your body, is protected while you sleep.

Finally we come to the question of mirrors. These are often a necessity in the bedroom, especially if you want to make sure that your appearance is just right before you leave the bedroom in a morning. However they do have the effect of speeding the flow of energy around a space and so in a bedroom can cause problems with sleeping patterns. The best advice that I can give is to have a mirror in the bedroom if you need one, but cover it with voile before you go to sleep at night. This will ensure that energy will flow around your room calmly and peacefully while you sleep, helping you to get the rest that you need to face the world another day.

When I am asked what are the two most important principles in Feng Shui I never hesitate in my answer. Balance and good energy flow are the two fundamental elements that need to be in place in your home if you are to attract good fortune and achieve what you desire in your life. Get these two principles right and everything else will start to fall in to place very easily, life becomes joyful, new opportunities appear, pleasant surprises happen when you least expect them. Get these two wrong and no matter how many enhancements you make to your home you will constantly feel as though you are taking one step forward and two steps back as you journey down the path that is your life.

In this week’s blog I am going to look at how you can ensure that you attract a positive and beneficial flow of energy in to your home. Energy flows in to your home through your front door and so it is incredibly important that this is kept clean, well maintained, in good repair and free of clutter. I can’t begin to tell you how many homes I have visited where on entering I first of all have to battle through a huge pile of coats and shoes to get in to the house. Energy, like visitors, needs to have an uninterrupted path in to the home so coats, shoes, parcels, bags and briefcases should all be put away in cupboards and wardrobes. If you think you are going to forget something when you leave the house write yourself a note, it is much better to do this than have the entrance to your home looking like a store room.

Welcome energy in to your home by placing a bowl of crystals or a vase of flowers just inside your front door. As well as looking visually attractive they help to ease the flow of energy in to the home as they blend the outside ‘yin’ of the natural world with the interior ‘yang’ of your home. Crystals and flowers can have specific meaning so to attract wealth use Carnelian or Citrine crystals, to attract love place two vases of pink or red roses either side of your front door and to enhance your career fortunes you could consider a glass bowl filled with Lapis Lazuli or Jet. If you are placing flowers in your home make sure they have plenty of water and that dead leaves and flowers are removed immediately.

Once energy has entered your home you want it to circulate and flow freely around your interior space. You don’t want it to flow straight back out again. One way to keep energy flowing inside your home is to minimise straight lines. Energy likes curves as curves allow it to move slowly in free flowing shapes like it does in the natural world. When faced with a straight line energy tends to move very quickly down the line. A common problem that I see, especially in the UK, is a long straight hallway immediately inside the front door which then often leads to a back door. This kind of house design can cause problems as energy will flow in to the home, down the hall, and straight back out again, bad news if you are wanting to attract a flow of positive and beneficial energy throughout your whole house.

The good news is that there are a couple of very easy cures you can use to prevent energy from flowing down your hall in the manner of Usain Bolt. Firstly hang a crystal from the ceiling midway between the front and back doors. If you don’t want to hang a crystal then a crystal light fitting will work just as well. Crystals attract energy and then reflect it back sending it in different directions all over your house. Don’t overdo it though. If you have a big wide hall by all means hang a large chandelier. If however your hall is narrow then the many crystals are going to send energy pinging all over the place so you may want to consider a smaller, more subtle crystal light.

The second type of cure is to create curves in your hallway. This can be done by placing items of furniture, potted plants, side tables and ornaments at strategic places down your hall creating a curved path. Again you don’t need to overdo it as you don’t want the hall to look cluttered but a large bamboo plant at one side and a small chair and side table further down the hallway on the other will work wonders in slowing the flow of energy as it enters your home.

Hopefully this week’s blog has given you some useful pointers to ensuring you get some of the basics’ right when looking at the energy in your home. As I often say Feng Shui is really very simple it is us who try and over complicate things. To recap some of the main points (if you don’t want to read the whole blog post again!):

The two fundamental principles of Feng Shui are balance and good energy flow. Get these right and everything else falls in to place

Energy enters your home through the front door so this needs to be kept well maintained, clean and uncluttered

Ease the flow of energy in to your home by placing objects from the natural world inside your door

Create curves through which energy can flow slowly through your home

Hang a crystal or crystal light fitting to minimise the effect of a long, straight hall

I read an article about luck in the newspaper yesterday. In it the writer questioned whether or not there was such a thing as luck in life, whether some people are born lucky or if people make their own luck. By reviewing a number of the past experiences in his own life, the train he was meant to take but didn’t, the top sports college that was in the town in which he was born, the leg break that ended one career but started another, he concluded that luck did exist but was strengthened by our own reactions to it. That in life it was less a case of making our own luck and more the fact that we are presented with circumstances which we can take advantage of. It was a very interesting article and particularly lucky for me that I decided to pick up the newspaper as it gave me the idea for this week’s blog.

When talking about luck I like to refer to the Chinese interpretation of luck which shows that we have three types of luck in life. These three lucks are Heaven Luck, Human Luck and Earth Luck. Heaven luck is completely out of our hands, we have no say in it and no control over it. Human luck we control and is down to us, this luck is determined by our actions and our behaviours. Earth luck comes from the environment around us and as we move through life we gain ever greater influence over it. If we understand these three types of luck then we can give ourselves the best possible chance of having a life that is filled with luck and good fortune and capitalise on the circumstances and opportunities life throws our way.

Let’s look at the three types of luck in more detail

Heaven luck is the luck that we are born with, our destiny. This is determined by the exact date and time of our birth and the name we have been given. We can do nothing to change this luck, destiny decides if we are going to be in the right place at the right time or the wrong place at the wrong time, whether we are going to be handed money easily or if we are going to have to work for it. If we accept that we cannot change this, that the first hand we have been dealt in the game of cards that is life is the one that was meant for us then we can concentrate our energy on what we can control and influence

Human Luck is how we react to events in our lives. Human luck is what we have complete control over. Human luck drives our behaviour and the actions that we take. It is this that allows us to see either the positive or negatives in any situation. If we break our leg, miss a job interview because the train was delayed or make a bad investment decision do we wallow in self pity, moan at our bad luck and wonder why me? Or do we accept that if this was meant to be there must be a reason and focus on the positives in the situation and the changes we may have to make however hard they may be to accept?

The final of the three lucks is Earth luck. Earth luck is the luck that we can influence as we move through life. This luck comes from our environment, the place we were born, the family we were born in to, the society that surrounds us, the place we now live. We have no influence over earth luck when we are born but as we move through life we gain greater influence. By using Feng Shui to balance and harmonise the energy in our environment, to align our personal energies with the energy in the universe we can start to attract what we desire to our life and influence the events that will bring greater fortune and good luck as we move towards our dreams.

A true story

Several years ago when I first moved to London I was lonely. London is a very vibrant, social city but for people working on there own, who move to London from elsewhere it can be difficult to make new friends and meet people. Having ended one bad relationship a couple of years before I felt I was ready to start a new one and so I had focused a lot of the energy in my home in the south west area, the area that influences love.

One evening I had been invited to a black tie party on a boat. The problem however was that I was very busy that day and didn’t think I was going to be able to make it. Knowing it would be difficult I did all I could to try and ensure I could get from my client to the party in a 90 minute turnaround, taking the car rather than relying on public transport and getting my clothes out so that I didn’t have to hunt around looking for them when I got back to the flat. Leaving my client at 6.00 I focused my attention on getting home in time to shower, change and get to the event for 7.30. I willed the traffic to be light and as I started to drive, focusing all my energy on getting to the party, the roads were unbelievably quiet, the street lights changed to green as I approached them and there was a parking space available right outside the door to my flat. I showered, changed and jumped in a taxi making the party with a few minutes to spare. Three hours later I met the man who is now my partner.

Think back to what you did yesterday. How much of what you did, the actions you took were what you really wanted to do?

If we are lucky then a large proportion of what we did were what we truly wanted to do. But for many people the actions that they take on a hourly, daily, weekly basis are actions that they take either to get through another day or to please somebody else. The danger is that if we spend too much time on these actions and forget what we want out of life then we lose the satisfaction that we should get from really living each day.

On the Life Goals workshops that I run I always start each workshop by asking people to focus on what they really, truly want in life. Their life purpose. We all know what our life purpose is, our reason for being on this earth, but as we get older we forget or it gets lost under the weight of other responsibilities. Our day to day actions are focused on earning enough money to pay the mortgage or the rent, hitting the firm’s targets, filling the fridge, helping somebody else. As we spend all our time on the actions that we need to do we don’t think about the actions that we want to do, or if we do think about them they become a dream for another life, or for when we have more time and less responsibilities in this one.

We all have responsibilities in life, but our responsibilities shouldn’t drive all of our actions. We should spend time each day in actions that are important to us, that bring us real satisfaction. Gradually as we refocus on our life goals and start to take actions that move us towards our goals we find that we start to bring more balance in to our life. Rather than living each day letting our responsibilities drive our actions, our responsibilities and our actions become aligned. And we have started on our journey to true satisfaction in this life.

This Sunday marks World Earth day when up to a billion people will come together to give thanks for our planet and make a pledge to help protect and support it.

I have always had an affinity with World Earth day. Partly this is because I was born around the time of the first ever World Earth day and the collective power of people as they came together to protect the earth, and the growing awareness of the need to safeguard the environment, did something to the energy circulating around the earth at this time. Mainly though the pleasure I get from this day and the reason I am such a strong supporter of the event is that it is wonderful to see so many people in the world today taking positive action to protect and sustain our world for ourselves and for generations to come.

As well as bringing people together to show their support for the earth and to call on all our governments to make a commitment for positive change, World Earth day this year is a timely reminder that there is much on this earth for us to be thankful for. We hear so much in the media about what is wrong with the world it is great to know that there are so many people who want to do what is right. To make the world a better place and to make sure we always have this world it only needs for each one of us to make a small difference to improve our relationship with the environment. If we can all take one small step the earth will provide us with all the resources we need to live a happy life for many thousands of years to come.

As a Feng Shui expert I am very conscious of the changes on the earth and the dramatic shifting in the earth’s energies over the last few decades. Earth’s place in the universe relies on an equal and harmonious balance between yin and yang. If one becomes stronger than the other, which is what we are experiencing at this moment in time, then the whole balance of the earth is put at risk. Our so called advancements over recent years, the satellites spinning overhead which allows 24 hour communication, the ever larger and taller buildings in areas which were previously unspoilt wilderness, vast tracts of land concreted over to provide us with faster transport connections have all resulted in a shift in the energy around us towards yang. Too much yang energy in our environment leads to conflict and disharmony, pretty much summing up the ever increasing instances of wars and natural disasters we now live in.

It is not too late to help the balance of energy become more equal, there are enough people on the planet to do it. One billion of us will be lending our voices and making a pledge on Sunday. If you want to perform a small action to make a difference in your own environment to promote yin energy there is much you can do. Scattering wild flower seeds on a patch of lawn to make your garden more yin, making more use of the natural light in your home so that you are less reliant on electricity, making a commitment to eat locally produced food in season are just three easy ways in which you can help.

If we give to the earth the earth will give back to us. And our lives will be healthier, richer and happier as a result.

When incorporating Feng Shui design in to the home many people concentrate on the interior of the home and forget that the outside space is just as important. When looking to bring balance and harmony to our immediate environment to attract what we desire to our life we should always focus on the whole of our environment. That includes our garden and the area immediately outside our own boundary as well as the interior of our home.

I returned home to Le Plantis our home in France at the beginning of the Easter weekend after a busy few weeks working in the UK. Driving down the road towards the house I was immediately struck with the changes that had happened to our environment even in a period of just five weeks. Everything seemed much more alive than when I had left. I find this time of year very special when plants and trees turn green, the spring flowers are out in full bloom in the meadows and the vines that surround our home are just starting to show the first new shoots of the year. After the coolness of the yin winter the cycle of the universe is turning towards yang and the earth as a result is becoming brighter and more colourful.

Over the winter months we have been having yet more work done to the outside of our home which has meant that we have had heavy machinery driving up and down our garden again. Even the first green leaves of the wisteria, the yellow and purple spring flowers in full bud underneath our hedges and the beautiful pink and white blossom on our fruit trees can’t disguise the destruction to our garden. Having spent the full Easter weekend in the garden trying to bring some order to the chaos my thoughts have turned to how I can make some quick fixes in the garden so that in the summer the areas of the garden that have been affected by the works look less like a building site and more like the tranquil garden of my dreams. The last few days have therefore seen me sowing seeds and planting small bushes to disguise the worst of the destruction.

As I have been concentrating on quick fixes I can make to my garden this weekend I decided to share some quick fix planting schemes with you so that you can strengthen the Feng Shui in your garden. Hopefully you will not have the chaos that I am currently dealing with and so will find it easy to implement these enhancements (and quickly reap the benefits). All of these plants are very simple to grow and not only help you attract what you desire to your life but will also increase the beauty of your outside space.

Bamboo

One of the most auspicious plants in Feng Shui, the bamboo lifts the energy in an area and signifies good luck, wealth and abundance. Plant bamboo in any neglected areas to raise the profile of the space or alternatively plant in the south east sector of your garden to bring wealth and good fortune in to your home.

Peonies

The national flower of China the peony is also a very auspicious plant for love, luck and wealth. Plant a bed or border of pink peonies in the south west sector of your garden if you want to attract love to your life or plant red peonies in the south east sector of the garden to attract greater wealth in to your home

Plum and Cherry trees

The blossom on both of these fruit trees signify the the return of spring and new beginnings. If you want to start on a new phase of your life plant one of these trees in either the east or the south east sector of your garden. We have a plum tree in the eastern most corner of our garden and I am always reminded of the wonderful new opportunities life throws my way every time I see the morning sun rising above the branches.

Pomegranate tree

Pomegranates are filled with numerous seeds and so are thought of as a symbol of fertility. If you are currently having difficulty in conceiving plant a pomegranate tree in the west of your garden, the area which represents children and creativity.

Narcissus

The lovely cream and yellow Narcissus are symbols of hard work and talent and so are known to be very supportive for your career fortunes. If you want to strengthen your business, gain a promotion at work or embark on a successful career change plant bunches of narcissus in the north of your garden.

Finally the most auspicious colour in Feng Shui is yellow which symbolises health, longevity, and good fortune. To make the most of any opportunities that come your way plant yellow flowers in the front garden of your home and the entrance to your driveway.

Chinese coins are popular and well known Feng Shui wealth cures. Many people place Chinese coins in their home to bring fortune through their door, but not many people know why they are so lucky. Here I share with you why Chinese coins are so auspicious and how they should be placed in your home to ensure luck and abundance fill your life.

Chinese coins are easily recognisable from other coins because of their unusual design. Like most coins they are circular and made out of metal but there the similarity ends. Unlike other coins Chinese coins have a small square hole in the centre and a design of four characters on one side and two characters on the other. This makes them very different from any other coins you will see.

The design and shape of a Chinese coin is no accident and very symbolic. The circular shape represents heaven luck while the square hole in the centre represents the earth. The symbols on each side of the coin represent yin and yang, the two opposite forces in the universe which work together in a cycle to keep the universe both balanced and infinite. Symbolic of heaven, earth and the never ending cycle of the universe it is no wonder that a Chinese coin is such a powerful and auspicious good luck charm.

Before rushing out to buy Chinese coins to place in your home though it is important to consider where they are going to be placed. The most obvious place is in the wealth area of the home as being coins they represent money and therefore wealth. This is the most common use of Chinese coins that I have seen in Feng Shui but placed here they can sometimes do more harm than good. Chinese coins that have been placed to bring wealth and abundance in to the home can often have the opposite effect, destroying or harming the flow of wealth in to the home. Look at the picture of the Chinese coin above again and you will see why.

Chinese coins are circular with a square hole in the centre. In the cycle of elements a circular shape represents metal and in a Chinese coin this element is further strengthened by the fact that the coin is made out of metal. The squareness of the hole represents earth which in the cycle of elements supports and strengthens metal. Put together this means that a Chinese coins is filled with very strong metal energy.

Now think of where in your home the wealth area is situated. In the south east area of the home the wealth area takes it’s energy in the cycle of elements from wood. Wood can be destroyed by metal which means that by placing metal coins in the wealth area rather than strengthening the flow of wealth in to your home you can actually destroy it.

I’m not saying that Chinese coins should not be placed in the wealth area of your home. After all they are a wealth cure. What I am saying is that you should place them there very carefully. The best place to site Chinese coins in the wealth area of your home is in the west or north west sectors of these rooms as these are the areas that take their energy from metal. You should also ensure that you balance the additional metal energy you have brought in to the area, by for example placing the metal coins in a wooden box or hanging them in a vertical strand of three or five coins so that they represent a column, an excellent shape for the wealth area.

If you are worried about placing them in the wealth area of your home there are alternatives. A good area to place Chinese coins is just inside your front door as this shows that you are ready to welcome money in to your home. There are exceptions to this. Do not place coins here if your front door faces east or south east as your home receives wood energy through the door in these cases and does not want to be confronted by strong metal elements before it has chance to enter your home.

To my mind though the best place to site Chinese coins is in the centre of your home. Representing heaven, earth and the cycle of the universe there is nothing better than to place these incredibly auspicious, good luck charms in what is the centre of your own personal space. Hung here on a red ribbon they help to balance the entire home and radiate luck and good fortune to every area of the house.

Personally for me it is the middle of spring when the cycle of the seasons start to move towards summer and the first buds appear on the trees showing the promise of the fruit to come. I love all the seasons but if I was to choose one over all the others it would probably be this one, the season when the daylight hours start to get longer, the weather gets gradually warmer and the world as a whole gets greener.

Whether you consider today the first day of spring or the middle of spring no doubt the thoughts of many have turned towards giving the home a thorough spring clean. There is something about spring that makes us want to open our home, letting as much of the new light and warmth enter through our doors and windows as we possibly can. The act of spring cleaning is thought to have originated in Persia when on the first day of spring people “shook the house” to bring good luck for the season ahead. Our reasons for spring cleaning today are more mundane, it is the first opportunity we have after the cold and wet winter to give the house a “good fettle” as my grandma would have said. But like the Persians we can also use this as an opportunity to bring luck and abundance in to our home.

One of the principles of Feng Shui, and one of the easiest ways in which we can attract harmony, balance and good luck to our lives, is to have a home which is clean, well maintained and free of clutter. Which is exactly what we aim to achieve when we give our home a spring clean. By giving our home a spring clean we are automatically helping to refresh and revitalise the positive energy in our home, helping it to flow and circulate more easily. Think about how you feel after you have had a relaxing bath,or spent a few days giving your body a detox. This is how your home feels once you have swept away the cobwebs, polished the floors, repainted the front door and mended the leaky tap that has been driving you mad all winter. It feels better, refreshed and the energy inside is more positive.

If you want to attract more good luck and abundance to your life, and in the process give your home a good spring clean, following the principles below will give you and your home a head start. And you and your home are sure to feel better as a result.

Make sure the entrance way to your home is well maintained and free of clutter. The front door is where positive energy enters and you want nothing to get in the way. Give the door a fresh coat of paint or varnish, strip away any dead plants that are at the front of your property and inside make sure all those winter coats in the hallway are put in a wardrobe.

Walk around your home making a note of anything that does not work as it should. Winter always tends to bring some household problems such as leaking pipes or damaged fences or tiles. Ensure that anything that is not in good repair is mended or replaced as soon as possible.

Clear away the clutter. Move any boxes, papers or anything that you do not use regularly to somewhere safe and out of way. If you have anything that you don’t need give it away or sell it. When you are moving items do not store them in a corner of the room, in a little used room or under the bed. Energy needs to circulate throughout the whole of your home and if you block it you may end up having difficulties in the area of your life where the blockage is.

Give everything a polish to make it shine, paying particular attention to any glass or crystals that you have in your home as the surfaces of these can get cloudy. Cleaning and polishing your belongings has the effect of recharging the energy in your home.

Finally once you have spring cleaned your house walk around it with an incense or smudging stick giving thanks for the security and happiness that your home provides. Focus on your hopes and desires for the coming few months and ask your home for it’s help and support as you work towards your dreams.

If you are currently having self doubt or worries, feeling down in general or want to improve your confidence levels and self esteem, the summer solstice is an excellent time to perform a fire energy enhancement.

Performing a fire enhancement on the day of the summer solstice can give you a much needed boost and provide you with an influx of powerful and uplifting energy. It can have the effect of immediately lifting your mood and helping you feel more positive about yourself. If like me you won’t be at home on the 21st June the enhancement can be done on another day that is close by, yang energy is at its strongest for several weeks either side of the summer solstice.

A fire energy enhancement can be done either inside the home or in the garden. If it is a lovely day, which at midsummer we all hope it is, then my personal preference is to go in to the garden. Go to the area of your home or garden that is situated in the fire area. To perform the fire energy enhancement place a candle, preferably a tall one in a secure holder or dish. Place the candle on a flat piece of ground or a table ensuring that it is not going to fall over. Sit on the floor facing the sun and light the candle. Place your hands together to form a steeple or pyramid shape and raising your hands so that the tips of your fingers rest on your face just above your nose, close your eyes. Think about everything that is good in your life. Hold those thoughts while breathing deeply.

Now think about what you want from your life. Picture yourself walking down a path that is bathed in sunlight living the life that you dream of. Take deep breaths letting the confidence that will enable you do those things enter your body. Now open your eyes and stretch your arms wide towards the sun saying in a loud voice “I am ready”. Sit quietly for a few minutes watching the candle burn and enjoying the feeling of the sun on your face. When you feel ready to move, blow the candle out but leave it in position. Now you are ready to live your dreams.

A balanced and harmonious environment full of positive energy is important if you are to attract personal success and achieve your goals. It is important that when you make changes to your home you do so with the intention to bring about positive change, in this brief section I help you understand how you can go about this.

To use intention we first of all need to understand what it is. Put simply intention is the act of focusing and directing the mind on a single purpose. By focusing our mind on a single purpose we are channelling all our energies to this one important place. This is incredibly powerful and should be used when implementing either an enhancement or cure to your home in order that your personal energy has the opportunity to align with the energy within your home.

To use intention there are three simple steps that you should follow:

Visualize what you desire

State out loud what you desire

Take a moment of quiet reflection to think about what you desire and ask the energy around you for help and support

Let’s now look at these steps individually

Visualization

Close your eyes and visualize the outcome of the enhancement or cure. If you are implementing an enhancement to your home because you are wanting to change career, visualize yourself in your new job. Imagine what your office looks like, what your desk looks like. Visualize yourself walking down the path to the reception area, using the code to get through the door, walking through the office to your desk. If you are wanting to attract more money in to your home imagine your bank statement coming through the door. Imagine that the balance at the bottom is a healthy credit balance, imagine bank notes floating in to your home through the doors and the windows. Whatever your hope and desire, whatever the reason for implementing the cure or enhancement take twenty seconds to close your eyes and imagine what your life will be like once the changes have occurred.

State out loud what you desire

This is where you state your purpose in implementing the enhancement or cure. State your purpose loudly and clearly. If you are hanging a picture of a seascape in the career area of your home state out loud “I am hanging this picture here to get a new job. The waves in this picture will bring a new job to my door, the ship in this picture will take me to my new career”

A moment of quiet reflection

Once you have visualized the outcome and stated your intention you should stand or sit quietly, emptying your mind and giving your own personal energy the time and space to align with the energies in your home.

Finally

Once you have completed the enhancement or cure say a simple thank you. Take a final look at the change you have made and feel the positive energy radiate out. Let the positive energy in to your body as well as your home and notice the feeling of calm that comes in to your being. You are now ready to embrace the change.
