Crystals make wonderful cures and enhancements in Feng Shui. When people think of using crystals as a Feng Shui enhancement most people think of the clear spherical crystals that you can hang from the ceiling on a length of red ribbon or place on a table or windowsill. These are wonderful enhancements and can cure many problems including drawing new energy in to either a room or a dark corner of a room, harmonizing confusing or chaotic energy and offering protection from poison arrows. As well as curing any number of different energy problems around the home they can make a stunning visual decoration in their own right.
A well placed crystal is a beautiful enhancement to any space. When using these I would recommend buying good quality Swarovski crystal in sizes not too small, nor too big. A perfect size for me is a clear crystal either 30 to 40 millimetres in diameter as this is large enough to make a difference but not too large to overpower the space.
These clear crystals are not however the only crystals that can bring beneficial energy in to your home. Often overlooked in Feng Shui there are many gemstones, semi precious crystals and rocks that can transform the energy in your home. An individual crystal placed on a table, mantlepiece or bedside cabinet, or a handful of smaller crystals scattered around the base of a candle or grouped together in a small bowl can make a beautiful and highly beneficial enhancement. On this page I have listed the types of crystals which are most beneficial for each bagua area of your home.
Whichever type of crystal you use as an enhancement it is important that you dedicate it for the purpose that you are using it for and place it with intention. To do this hold the crystal in your hand and perform the three secrets reinforcement, that is you visualize the outcome of placing the crystal, you state out loud the purpose and you take a few moments of quiet reflection. You are then ready to place the crystal or crystals in your desired location and enjoy the beauty of these wonderful enhancers.

Feng Shui Crystals – How To Strengthen The Energy In Your Home

I received a lot of nice feedback on my post on crystals last week. It led to a number of people asking questions and requesting further information and so I thought that I would provide some further insights this week on using crystals in Feng Shui. This week I am focusing on crystals as cures and highlight five of the more common crystal cures you can implement if you have a problem in your home.
Stimulating Chi
Probably the most common crystal cure is to suspend a clear quartz crystal from the ceiling of a room. This is an excellent cure if you want to stimulate the energy in your space or help it to flow more naturally. A common mistake that people make is to buy a large crystal, whilst size is important it is not always true that bigger is better. A crystal that is too large can overpower a space and disrupt the energy sending it zinging all over the place. The optimum size for a crystal is one that is between 30mm and 40mm in diameter (roughly 1 inch to 1.5 inches). Also with clear quartz the clearer the crystal the better and the best quality, most affordable crystal I have found is Swarovski which can be a little bit more expensive than some crystals but is well worth paying that little bit extra for.
Energy Harmonization
If you feel that your home would benefit from energy harmonization then a great cure is to place a circular clear crystal bowl in the centre of your home within which you have placed five crystals each of which represent one of the five elements. For wood use a green crystal such as Jade or Green Fluorite. Fire is represented by red or purple crystals, great examples here are Red Jasper, Red Jade and Amethyst. Earth crystals are brown or yellow crystals such Citrine, Tiger Eye and Smoky Quartz. For metal place Hematite or Moonstone and water is represented by Jet and Lapis Lazuli. The bowl in to which the crystals are placed must be circular as this represents the never ending movement of the elements.
Attracting Love
If you want to attract love to your life a great crystal cure is to place two crystals below your bed. The best crystals to use here are either Rose Quartz or Amethyst. Write down your hearts desires on a piece of paper, wrap the paper around the crystals and place the crystals and paper in a red pouch, or cover with a red cloth. Leave the crystals under your bed for 9 days before taking them out and displaying them prominently in your bedroom.
Recharging your Internal Energy
To recharge your internal energy at the end of a long day place a bowl of crystals by your bath. Excellent crystals to use in the bathroom are Jade, Rose Quartz, Moonstone and Aquamarine. As you are relaxing with a long soak take a crystal out of the bowl and hold it in your hands for a few minutes. You will feel calmer and refreshed as you let the power of the crystal flow through your body.
Attracting Money
For a great wealth cure, place eight Citrine crystals in a small wooden box into which you have placed a small denomination note. Place the box in the most auspicious area of your home for wealth (to find out your most auspicious area check out my blog post on kua numbers). I know that I have written about this wealth cure a number of times but I make no apologies as it is one of my favourites.
